Common Vegetable Problems
Back to Heirloom Garden classes
When growing vegetables, it is important to be aware of possible problems that can affect certain families of vegetables. For example: cucurbits with mosaic virus, squash bugs, or powdery mildew; tomatoes and peppers with blossom end rot, sunscald, stink bug or cat facing; corn with earworm or smut; and several others you need to be aware of. We will also cover what can be done to avoid these problems or properly deal with them if they do occur.
